Bolin wasn’t as oblivious as most people thought he was. He noticed things - at least some of the time. Just like he noticed the cute girl that had been following him around lately.
He didn’t really know her that well, but considering the fact that he saw her in all his favourite places, he figured they would be perfect together. When he frequented Narook’s, she was there. When he walked by the ruins of the probending arena, she was there mourning the loss of his pastime, too. He’d eve seen her at the market, too, admiring a red scarf like the one Mako wore, so he knew they would get along great.
Which was good, because he had decided she was the love of his life.
He hoped she could cook, so they didn’t have to live with Mako forever. That could be a nightmare, once they were married, and had little earthbender babies running around.
Bolin grinned to himself and walked into the flower shop. It hadn’t worked with Korra, but he had faith in the power of floral arrangements. Picking a deep red rose, he handed over the yuans necessary, and left with the flower in hand. Now, to pick somewhere to wait for her…
He settled down on a bench outside city hall - it was public enough that he could watch for her. She had to be around somewhere… She always was.
